The Government ITI Tirupati is a public-funded institution that offers diploma courses in various engineering trades. The admission process is based on merit and the candidate's performance in the ITI entrance exam. The Govt ITI Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed the 10th standard examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The candidate must have passed the ITI entrance exam. The candidate must have passed the Tamil language examination.
There are a total of 10 courses offered to the interested candidates at Government ITI Tirupati at diploma level. These courses are offered for the duration of 2 years. These courses are offered in the specialisation of COE & Advanced Module, COE (Electrical Sector), Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Painter, Turner and Welder. To become eligible for the courses, candidates must have passed class 10 or an equivalent exam and also must have qualified in a centralised entrance exam conducted by the state government.
